I’m an experienced yoga teacher and fitness trainer who connects my clients with mood-boosting, body-strengthening movement

what I do

I know what it feels like to be counting down the minutes until a workout is over. I also know what it feels like to discover a wellness strategy that makes you feel more motivated, strong, and connected to yourself. That’s why I create customized exercise and mindfulness practices for clients that promote holistic health - and that they look forward to doing.

I’m a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), group fitness instructor, pilates coach, trauma-informed yoga teacher, and more, with over 300 hours of continuing education. I’m a yoga therapist in training with advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy, injury prevention and recovery, and specific health concerns.

Movement should feel like a celebration of what you can do, rather than a chore. We’re way more likely to stick with a habit when we have a positive experience doing it. I love guiding and supporting the people I work with, helping them rediscover a sense of wellbeing in body, mind, and spirit - and all of it can be done online, with little to no equipment.

what people are saying

“Mads has by far been the most influential person in my fitness journey over the past 4 years, and is someone who goes far beyond just workouts! She consistently strives to lift my self-confidence, is one of the most knowledgeable instructors I’ve ever had, and has this incredible ability to make each workout unique and fun. Mads genuinely cares about helping you achieve your goals, always knowing when you need a little extra push. I am beyond grateful I found her.”

“Mads has been my yoga teacher for almost two years, and I am amazed how much my life has changed since then. She has been essential in teaching me more about the fundamentals of yoga and how to understand and respect my body, my mind, and my thoughts during my practice. I have improved my balance, flexibility, and strength largely due to the combination of yoga and core sequences that she prepares in each of her classes. Her commitment, knowledge, and dedication to yoga, teaching, and her students provides an atmosphere for meaningful and empowering classes and leads to a healthier lifestyle!”

“A year ago, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and her bone density and overall strength decreased significantly due to various cancer treatments. We wanted a quick fitness routine focused on building muscle, targeting our arms and core. Mads took this all into account and developed a personalized and easy to follow at-home workout program. Although it only takes us about 20-30 minutes each morning, we have found that we have more energy, enjoy the start to the morning, and we are overall feeling balanced and strong. The plan Mads put in place for us was truly a key piece in getting back to ‘normal’ after cancer.”

“I started my yoga journey 5 years ago. I was going through a rough time in my life when I met Mads at the yoga studio. She was amongst the first to teach me yoga and encouraged me to step up my yoga practice by taking sculpt classes with weights. Even in her group classes, Mads focuses on every students' individual needs. She has the best playlist, the perfect sequence of flows, and is very patient with any after class doubts and clarifications. She has been a yoga mentor, guide, and friend for me in my yoga journey. She has helped transform my body, mind, and life. Highly recommended to take a class with her.”
